I paid for "Next-day Delivery" - why does it take 48+ hours to receive the fish?

Will my fish look exactly like the picture?

Photos on our website are provided as examples and represent the species, but individual fish can vary in appearance. Coloration, pattern, and overall appearance can change based on age, gender, mood, social status, and environment. Fish commonly lose some color during shipping and may appear pale or stressed upon arrival. In most cases, their color and personality will return once they have settled into their new aquarium. Some photos may show fully mature specimens with developed coloration, while others may feature juveniles that have not yet reached their adult appearance. In many species, males and females can look dramatically different from one another. We encourage customers to research each species before ordering so they understand the range of colors, patterns, and characteristics that may develop over time.
